New Season in Full Swing(09/18/2006)
Summer has come and gone, which can only mean one thing… Hog Palace Bowling. To start the new 2006-07 season, there have been a few changes made, both within the Who Cares League and within the Hog Palace.
The league has been extended to 32 regular weeks. Due to that, the 10-week thirds have now been changed to eight-week quarters. Thankfully, the weekly bowling fee has stayed at $13.
For the Hog Palace, a couple of new faces have joined the group. For starters, Hog Palace regular super-fan, Bill Gabel, has finally joined the fold. Secondly, Sabe Burgard, of Hog Palace Softball fame, has also signed on to join the bowling team. Both of these men will act as regular substitutes for the team, which always seems to be shorthanded week after week.
Two more weeks and two more faces will make this season two times as fun. Don’t forget to come out and cheer on your favorite bowling team this year.
